We design for access from the first sketch — not the final audit.

Because inclusion is not branding.

ARCHFIEND® is committed to making our digital experience equally navigable, legible, and intentional for all users — regardless of physical, sensory, or cognitive ability.

We don’t just aim to “comply.”
We aim to construct a site that resists exclusion by default.

DESIGN STANDARDS

The ARCHFIEND® website is designed with:

  • Semantic HTML5 for assistive tech compatibility

  • ARIA landmarks for structured screen reader flow

  • High-contrast typographic brutalism (WCAG 2.1 AA+)

  • No forced animations or strobing visuals

  • Keyboard-navigable UX across all key flows

  • Text-based equivalents for all critical visuals and CTAs

We avoid carousels, overlays, popups, and neurotypical UX distractions.
Our design language is clean, modular, and fully navigable.

SCREEN READER COMPATIBILITY

We regularly test with:

  • VoiceOver (MacOS, iOS)

  • NVDA (Windows)

  • JAWS

  • ChromeVox

ALT text is not decorative filler — it is editorially authored to describe the image conceptually, not just visually.

FONT & TYPOGRAPHY

We use a legible, scalable typographic system with:

  • Sufficient letter-spacing

  • No visual distortion at zoom

  • Full viewport flexibility (including 200%+ scaling)

  • Dark-mode readability

ARCHFIEND® typography is not ornamental.
It is functional form.
